SHANE A. TIEMAN was appointed by the Scioto County Commissioners as County Prosecutor in July 2018 when former County Prosecutor Mark Kuhn resigned to be appointed Judge of the Court of Common Pleas.

SHANE A. TIEMAN, is a 1991 Graduate of Clay High School, Scioto County, Ohio. In 1995, he graduated with Honors, as a B.A. in Social Sciences from The Ohio State University.  In 1998, he graduated with Distinction, as a Juris Doctor from Ohio Northern University.

SHANE A. TIEMAN has had a wide range of experiences in the legal field as a former city prosecutor, juvenile/probate court magistrate and private practitioner. He has also worked in the corporate world as a director and officer for a regional wholesale supplier and retailer.

SHANE A. TIEMAN is married with two children. He is involved in the community, coaching youth and varsity soccer.

SHANE A. TIEMAN is actively involved in both the legal field and community. He is, or has been a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Foundation, Scioto County Bar Association, Scioto County Law Library Resources Board-Chairman, Ohio State Alumni Association, and Minford Youth Soccer. He is also a member of the St. John Lutheran Church in Franklin Furnace and acts as the Head Coach for the Minford Lady Falcons Varsity Soccer Team.
